| RANCHO SANTA FE |
| Rancho Santa Fe homes have one of the sought after addresses in the country. Worth Magazine, which ranks luxury communities in the U.S., placed Rancho Santa Fe number one in some years. Here, at "The Ranch," even modest homes sell for well over $1 million.
Rancho Santa Fe was established about 70 years ago specifically for the wealthy. Bing Crosby happened to be one of the first homeowners. You can find in a quaint town located at La Granada and Paseo Delicias, a library, a resort inn, a few restaurants and stores, realty offices and a post office and two public schools. The schools are part of the Rancho Santa Fe Elementary School District. The homes surround the center of the city. Here you'll find upscale homes, big and comfortable homes, grand and imposing homes. You'll also find a few homes sitting on small hills, surrounded by open fields, grazing horses and range groves. According to the 2000 census, the population of Rancho Santa Fe was 3,252 in the village and the original homes. But over the last 30 years, many custom homes and small upscale tracts have been built in the countryside, especially along Paseo Del Delicias and Escondido Del Rios Highway. |
